The moment we put all our eggs in one basket and idolize gurus, we disempower the true guru that lies within ourselves. It shouldn’t have to come to this to rattle the cage. Yet, here we are.

Well written and thought provoking, Scott. Hopefully this will open some eyes. And mouths to speak up.

Thank you for writing this article to inform readers. I am very sorry to read your disappointment in seeing how DC has let down his followers.

For whatever reason, I was never attracted to his writings or teachings, although I was a "seeker" seeking the truth. I never read his books and was never in contact with him.

What I sincerely hope is that followers don't follow mindlessly anymore. Every single so-called spiritual guru is human with human desires, and these desires can be very perverted—the more followers, the more power and perversion.

Scott, you mentioned the names of public spiritual influencers and asked why they are quiet. Personally, I think none of them has a clean vest on either. They cannot speak for or against because their own conscience is not pure. Isn't there a Bible verse where Jesus says, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone.”

They might not all be sexual perverts, but money greedy, hoarding, using spirituality to be a celebrity and earn a living without living a spirituallife.

They sell the experience they once had in their life, but are no longer enlightened.

All the best, dear Scott.
